Our main focus when trying to come up with a record label name was that it has to be catchy and easy to remember, we went on a name generator and wrote down all the ones that were relevant and catchy and then made logos for them. We decided the colour scheme should be black and white as it is crisp minimalist, which is conventional, and professional looking. We also sourced music related imagery and used rough messy fonts that carry associations with organic music and the indie genre as a whole.

In the end we chose Blind Spark productions as the logo itself was concise in convey it's relation to music and "Spark" hold connotations of bright light and success.

Amy created three band logos with the name of the band's music we are using as we agreed to use their names and provide links to there iTunes in our video description min exchange for being able to use their music. We liked all three of the logos so Amy and I did some focus groups to get a better idea of what our target audience likes.

Considering their feedback we chose the geometric logo as minimalism is conventional of indie and the logos got the most positive response.
